Why Mossy Oak®?

Since 1986, hunters and outdoorsmen everywhere have come to know Mossy Oak® as a name you can trust for quality in the world of outdoor sports. Featuring innovative camouflage patterns, and an aggressive marketing strategy for their brand, the team at Mossy Oak® has become an acknowledged leader in their industry.

For years now, I’ve heard Mossy Oak® founder, Toxie Haas, talk about environmental responsibility, and stewardship of the land. In a recent television interview, I heard Mr Haas say, “We didn’t inherit the land from our parents, we’re borrowing it from our kids.” When I heard that, I stopped and wrote his words down….I could not agree more.

My vision for Phillips Land Company is to be far more than just a place to buy a house or a farm – whenever possible, I intend to teach my clients how to improve the quality of their land, through such things as environmental upgrades, and habitat enhancement. This has long been a passion of mine – it’s a chance to have a positive impact on the local environment, while also increasing the resale value of the real estate – what could be better?

When I heard Mossy Oak® had gone into the real estate business, with the Mossy Oak® Properties network, I knew I wanted Phillips Land Company to be a part of it. With over forty franchises now in place, all committed to the same ideals of responsible land management and environmental responsibility, Mossy Oak® Properties has become a powerful force in the rural real estate industry.

With a recognized name like Mossy Oak® Properties behind us, I believe this network will have a profound impact on the future of this country’s rural landscape. Phillips Land Company is honored and humbled to be associated with such a fine organization, as a group, we can make a difference.
