David B. Phillips, Sr. is the owner of Mossy Oak Properties - Land, Farms & Timber. After graduating from The Citadel in 1975 and being a Commercial Banker for 18 years, he began what is now over a 17 year business of buying standing timber for both himself and for other independent timber companies. David personally owns various types of farms and timber land in eastern North Carolina and fully understands all aspects of land ownership. David is also a consultant to one of our nation's largest mitigation banking Companies where he handles their acquisitions in North Carolina,South Carolina and Virginia. David's expertise is a balanced approach that combines maximizing the income/investment potential of the properties with maintaining the biodiversity of the properties unique ecosystems. He and his wife Margaret have two sons, Will and Ford.
